Designed by architect James Dupree and built by Faver Gray, the residence called for a landscape that would complement its grand architectural scale while introducing softness, privacy, and a sense of place. Working collaboratively with the design and construction team, Helix Green developed a comprehensive site design encompassing the driveway, entry courtyards, pool, outdoor living spaces, and surrounding gardens.
At the front of the residence, sweeping driveway geometry and custom designed curved masonry wing walls create a gracious arrival experience, softening the home's imposing proportions and establishing a natural transition between architecture and landscape. Additional garden walls and gates serve as portals to the backyard, creating a sense of discovery as the property unfolds.
Situated along Ponte Vedra Boulevard, Bellecôte is a newly constructed coastal estate where French-inspired architecture meets the relaxed elegance of Northeast Florida living.
The rear garden was envisioned as a private coastal retreat, with a restrained tropical planting palette that feels both lush and appropriate to Northeast Florida. Layered palms provide screening at multiple heights, with dwarf sugar palms creating intimacy at eye level and taller specimens filtering views from neighboring second-story windows and terraces. A custom-designed water feature and planter wall, positioned on centerline with the covered terrace, establishes a focal point against a backdrop of greenery.
A minimal, carefully curated plant palette introduces the relaxed atmosphere of a coastal resort while remaining grounded in the character of Northeast Florida.
The result is a landscape that feels both grand and intimate, where thoughtful transitions, architectural details, and layered greenery bring warmth and livability to an impressive coastal estate.
