Danielle Faustini came to landscape design through a deliberate shift toward work that felt more grounded and lasting. After stepping away from a fast-paced creative career in New York, she began exploring the relationship between structure, land, and daily experience -  recognizing how thoughtfully shaped outdoor environments can influence the way we move, gather, and pause.

Her first garden took shape along the cliffs overlooking the Manhattan skyline, situated behind the Helix of the Lincoln Tunnel. Modest in scale, but formative in perspective, it was there that Danielle began to understand how intention and restraint can create a sense of freedom within a space — ideas that continue to shape her work today.

That experience led her to formal study at the New York Botanical Garden. She later went on to design urban landscapes and green roof installations in New York City before contributing to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects in South Florida. Danielle relocated to Northeast Florida eight years ago, where she formally established Helix Green. 

Today, as a designer, business owner, and working mother, Danielle is acutely aware of the pace and pressures of modern life. In a world shaped by constant communication and acceleration, she believes outdoor environments should offer more than beauty - they should provide clarity, rhythm, and a sense of steadiness.

Her work is guided by the conviction that the most meaningful landscapes are not the loudest ones, but the ones that quietly become part of how we live.
