Following a recent pool installation, this residence presented a unique design challenge: to transform a barren backyard into a lush and inviting outdoor living space for a young family. Key considerations included mitigating privacy concerns from neighboring properties and mitigating the visual impact of the existing vinyl fence. Furthermore, the homeowners desired increased shade and canopy in this open space to create a safe and enjoyable environment for their children.

Helix Green Designs addressed these challenges through a comprehensive landscape plan, incorporating mature palms native to the Northeast Florida climate, drought-tolerant grasses, and carefully selected plantings to create a lush and structured environment. We also integrated a custom outdoor shower with a metal screen to enhance privacy and overall enjoyment of the outdoor living space.
