This Atlantic Beach residence presented a unique opportunity to create a modern, Arizona-inspired garden to complement a newly installed putting green. The homeowners, with their discerning taste, envisioned a minimalist landscape that seamlessly integrated with the existing architecture.

A key challenge involved navigating the permitting process for the removal of eight existing sabal palms, a pignut hickory, and other trees within the property. Furthermore, Helix Green Designs successfully secured permits for the removal of two large sycamore trees on the neighboring property, owned by the homeowners' mother-in-law, resulting in significant cost savings.

Working closely with the homeowners, we meticulously selected each plant to align with their specific vision. Date palms were strategically placed to screen the neighbor's new two-story addition and provide privacy around the pool area. Helix Green Designs oversaw the entire installation process, collaborating with Vie Plant and Garden Design who was selected by Helix Green as the landscape contractor. Jen and her team expertly sourced the exquisite boulders and the striking specimen ponytail palm that now serves as a focal point in the renovated front garden.
